| 4 Channel Shaft and Bin Monitor Grant Eaton from Kinley, Saskatchewan says;"The 4 Channel Shaft/Bin Monitor works really well for us and did what we wanted. We installed it on our press drill and it worked 100% for us. Before the shafts would stop because of a broken pin on a gear, or it would skip so you wouldn't know about it until you'd seeded." David Wirth from Melville, Saskatchewan says; "I have some problems with the drive chains falling off my old drills, so I decided to purchase a 4 Channel monitor from Agtron. When I was asked how I liked the shaft monitor, I simply said it gave me peace of mind." David Howlett from Orkney, Saskatchewan who'd been using the Agtron 4 Channel Shaft and Bin Monitor for over seven years says; "The unit has been maintenance free with 100 percent reliability. The adaptability to other applications such as the Bin Level Sensor just adds to an already versatile unit. I cannot think of any other monitor that would give you a better value for the money invested." Ted McMillan of Valley View Farms near Cheney, Washington says; "We put three shaft sensors on our John Deere 9400 hoe drill, and the fourth sensor on the fertilizer pump shaft. I didn't have to worry about all the shafts not turning with the dust and all. Once the chain broke on the fertilizer pump, I hadn't gone ten feet when the 4 Channel Shaft/Bin Monitor went into alarm on channel #4. The sensitivity controls worked well too. I could set them just right and they wouldn't alarm when going around the corners. The 4 Channel was well worth the money and I wouldn't be without one." Back to top
| Air Seeder Blockage Monitor (AR-99) Irwin Mohr from Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta says; "We are very happy with our AR-99 twelve run system. We bought a Concord Air Seeder around 1993, and put Agtron's Air Seeder Blockage Monitor on a year later. We've put two sensors on each tower, thinking two sensors is better then one, and we're really monitoring extra runs as well as the primary's. The only problems we had were some damaged cables, and Agtron's warranty covered that. We've recommended this system to many people with the pin system, because the pins wear out and can get plugged." Richard Biffart from Woodrow, Saskatchewan says; "The first year we had air seeders we ran without a monitoring system and it was a nail biting experience so we installed the AR-99 system on a Flexi-Coil 5000 air seeder. It was easy to do right on the farm. We started using it about six years ago on our first air seeder, and found that we could move the system from one seeder to another very easily. I started with the basic package using just five sensors to make sure the main runs were seeding and then upgraded to the all-run system. Now I have one sensor on each of the forty-five runs, and we double shoot so I have one on each fertilizer run as well. We direct seed everything right into the summer follow, so the fertilizer is just as important to us as the seed. It's really a simple system to use. It's not very complicated and for us farmers, the simpler it is to use the better!" Neil Driscoll of Moorfield, Ontario says; "We didn't have monitors and I sowed over 300 acres in about a day-and-a-half and I had about a three foot miss in soy beans. We thought we could do without a monitoring system, but that was reason enough to put one in. The same thing happened after we installed the AR-99 system, but the monitor caught it. It beeped right away. You can't run an air drill without an AR-99, they should be standard on all equipment. We are really happy with the system and I recommend them to everyone!" Wayne Hall from Moose Jaw says; "I seed around 3,300 acres and this means long hours in the field. My AR-99 Air Seeder Blockage Monitor takes all the stress out of seeding. Due to the fact that I use a 50 ft. pull between air seeder, I need to know that all my runs are seeding, and my AR-99 tells me instantly if one plugs. At today's prices one can't afford to be out there leaving unseeded strips in your field. I've had my Agtron AR-99 Air Seeder Blockage Monitor for the last three seasons. It's one piece of equipment I wouldn't be without. It's trouble free, works well and makes seeding a pleasure." Vern Klym purchased an AR-99 to replace his pin style monitor. He says; "The pin style constantly plugged in large seed crops like peas. The pin monitor can damage seeds as they fly past. The Agtron monitor is a vast improvement, it works extremely well and there are no false alarms." Phil Barstow from Western Australia says; "I seed 12 inch rows so I can't afford to have one plug. The Agtron Air Seeder Blockage Monitor did what it was supposed to do and is valuable on a machine." Back to top

| Air Seeder Monitor and Control System (GR-99) Conserva Pak Seeding Systems of Indian Head, Saskatchewan spent five years developing their latest product, the Conserva Pak Air Cart. With Individual fertilizer and seed row metering patented camera monitoring and four tank versatility, this revolutionary new cart was almost ready for market when Conserva Pak approached Agtron president Bill Baker looking for a supplier of Air Seeder Controller/Monitors. Utilizing a closed circuit camera system to monitor product blockages, tank levels and an external rear view, the air carts still require a monitoring system for metering shafts, acres, fan speed and ground speed. That's where Agtron's the GR-99 came in. The GR-99 was upgraded to allow for monitoring of the 8 metering shafts in the unique Conserva Pak 4 tank compartment cart. In addition, the GR99 performs all the other required monitoring of acres, speeds, etc. as well as working in conjunction with the camera system for bin/tank levels. All new 300 and 400 bushel capacity air carts manufactured and sold by Conserva Pak now feature the GR-99 as standard equipment. In addition, the GR-99 has module options to control external products such as liquid or NH3 fertilizer, eliminating the need for a third monitor in the tractor cab. Jim Halford, Conserva Pak President says the following regarding Agtron and the GR-99; "We are more than satisfied with Agtron's product and service. They have been very responsive to our needs and have provided consistent personal attention." Wilfred of Wechsel Farms in Cannington, Ontario... has manufactured a tow between Air Seeder prototype called the Wechel 440. Presently with the 4 tanks and 460 bushel capacity, the heavy duty frame comes with good flotation, is a good double shoot system, and had the ability to add a fifth tank with five meter roll capacity. Wilfred Wechsel says; "We were attracted to the GR99 Air Seeder Control System because with the present system of four clutches, we could expand to variable rate on five tanks in the future. With the GR99's capability we can change the seed rate and fertilizer rates for different areas, and have full monitoring. We were quite satisfied and fairly happy with the support we had from the Agtron staff, and we found the service and tech support good on startup." David Unrau of Skiff, Alberta says; "My neighbor had an Agtron AR-99 Air Seeder Blockage Monitor and really liked it. It was one of the best he has seen. That's when I contacted Agtron and decided to upgrade to their GR-99 system on my air seeder, so I could eventually go variable rate and GPS. I had great service from Agtron. On a service call they sent two technicians out to Alberta from Saskatoon. They fixed the problem and even stayed around for awhile to make sure my equipment was running right." Chuck Schmidt the owner of North Pine Ag Supply in Spangle, Washington also farms in Rosalia. Chuck says; "I was one of the first users of the GR-99 system. I own my own farm and also have a custom seeding operation using the Horsch Air Drill System. The Agtron GR-99 Air Seeder Control System is better than the Raven System in the way that it is easier to operate and much more accurate. I predict a 96% accuracy rate when seeding. The first time Calibration is challenging, so I allowed more time to learn the process, but now it's very easy. I would recommend the GR-99 system to anyone." Eli Jr. from Choteau, Montana says; "I'm very happy with the product, it's very user friendly. The Concord is a good unit in itself, but the combination of it with the GR-99 is exactly what I was looking for. Doing night seeding and during gusty conditions it is operator friendly and you know what is going on behind you. The GR-99 system was not difficult to install and if I had questions, the staff at Agtron was right there to walk us through it. It is handy deal directly with the manufacturer, because farmers need answers fast. If there are updates I can just add on newer equipment, I don't have to replace the whole system. The GR-99 system is a bit of the best of everything brought together in one piece."

| Grain Loss Monitor Orrist Fedorsk from Fairview, Alberta has a grain loss monitor on a John Deere 7720, and he says; "The monitor works really good. The monitor was able to give us a better reading on the sieve and walker and told us when we had grain loss when we put the chaffer on. It is a good unit!" Back to top

6 Function Area Monitor Greg Berscht from Alsask, SK who farms in Sibbald, Alberta says; "I do custom combining and seeding. I've been using the Area Plus for about four years now and it works good and I've told other people about it. My neighbor uses the Area Plus on his manure spreader. I like having the two different acre totals, one for the whole year and one for the current client." John Stahl from Kosciusko, Mississippi says; "I use the Area Plus on my John Deere 6620 Combine, and do custom harvesting. The Area Plus keeps an accurate count on the acres I've harvested for my customers, so it keeps folks honest. I use the run-hold switch with the magnet mounted on the cylinder that lifts the header, so I'm only counting acres when the header is down. I like the Area Plus and I'm even thinking of buying another one this spring for my tractor." Valmar Airflo Inc. in Elie, Manitoba provides pneumatic applicators for granular fertilizer, herbicide and seed to both commercial operators and agricultural producers. When our customers began asking for shaft monitors, bin level sensors and acre counters, we looked to Agtron to help us meet our needs. We found that the 4Channel Shaft/Bin Monitor and Area Plus 6 Function Area Rate Monitor would compliment our product line with easy to use, effective monitoring systems that would give our customers the assurance their equipment was functioning properly and the accuracy of the acres was covered.
